Warrior. poet. artist. Advocate for Freedom
-What is the Sun?
-Many years ago people worshipped it as a God, called it Ra
-They believe Ra rose as young child at first light, hung as a proud adult during mid-day, and rest as an old soul
-And the next day reborn a new
-I simply find solace in sunrise and sunset, transitional periods, so beautiful
-Feeling as if you are connected to something more
-Just like water, all life need night just as much as light
-Such warmth, it can strengthen all things
-But too much can hurt, event burn
-Is that what I did to you
-I never mean to hurt you
-Is that why you ignore me
-Once upon a time, my heart and mind were conflicted
-Let the voices of others steer my actions
-Not really weighing the consequences of a decision
-I never stopped thinking about you
-Doing any and all things to give you the space I thought you wanted
-You tried, and I denied you
-Afraid of liking of you and all the means
-To think, for a year, holding emotions inside
-When finally you released, I failed to catch
-Thinking what you felt would not last
-Desiring what I did not have or could not provide
-Hiding myself, it was cowardly
-You are more than just a pretty face
-A spark, a friendship, maybe more
-Willing to move in any direction if you desire it
-Ready to assume risk and all that means
-I found my reason
-I believe what I feel is not without cause
-Do your thoughts still linger, entertain possibility
-That relaxed style, that smile, how you believe you're wild, a free spirit
-I could be that wind next to you, because no one needs to carry you, strong all on your own
-Sometimes the wind shifts, gets a bit crazy
-It's hard when we want it to be soft
-Moves fast when we want it to be slow
-It makes mistakes and if we forgive, like the sun, two souls/two lives can be reborn a new
Seek strength and beauty in everything and the everyday. Live life as you are moving towards something greater. True growth is part of the human experience.
