Poetic Change Inc, is a company that was built from the experience of our founder, Katherine Kylila Rice . Mrs. Rice first started Poetic Change Inc, in 2014, after creating a community for West Point Cadets to positively express themselves, study good leadership traits, and grow their cultural competence. Once started, Poetic Change Inc. grew quickly, expanding to three physical locations in three states in five years. Since our start, Poetic Change Inc. has increased entrepreneurship amongst rural, african american and veteran communities. Through business partnerships, we have worked with the borough of Rockaway in New York City to revitalize, and reenergize their community through human centered design and urban planning. We have been guests of Harvard Law, and Columbia University for their Transformational Leadership Institute. Poetic Change has also been present as an invitee to the United Nations Foundation Social Good Summit.
Our vision of revitalizing the American Dream by creating hope through social impact has allowed us to work on extraordinary projects, and build a wealth of knowledge that is unique to the experience of applying higher education to real world practice.

We Invest our Net Income
into the Arts and Education.
Not Investors.
At Poetic Change Inc we believe that those who provide labors of love -following their passions and working for the greater good, should be fairly compensated. We also hold the educated opinion that arts and education are the catalysts to innovation. We use our net income to commission art and support educators. By doing so, we hope to encourage society to place more value on impactful, meaningful work.
