"Pastor Of Peace"

In remembrance of one of the greatest human beings who sacrificed so much for the preservation of others. Thank you, Dr. (Reverend) Martin Luther King, Jr. (1929-1968)

-My days are promising
-My worries are smaller
-My future is brighter
-Because of you, pastor of peace
-Leader with courage and tenacity
-Advocate of love
-A father, a brother
-The “drum major” for righteousness
-Commanding our spirits, inspiring our minds, marching our bodies
-Through dignity and discipline, forming an organization of non-violent demonstration
-Resolution through revolution
-Not without loss or tragedy, bleeding liberty for a single dream
-So a minority can be a somebody
-Have a voice, have a choice
-So fraternities of the few elite are not the only priority
-Separate is not equal
-So we held hands together
-Took back our tomorrow, took back our freedom
-Warriors of compassion, healing toxic hearts and fractured minds
-Fighting intolerance, ignorance, hateful hubris
-Still climbing mountains
-Still wrestling wanton actions
-More to overcome, more to persevere
-Lord willing, an authentic new beginning is somewhere near
