Rejection happens. We hope that a special someone shares an equal fondness for us, but it does not always work out. It is very difficult; however, do not take a failed advance personal. If she/he is not overcome by how awesome your are, it is THAT person's
loss not yours. There is someone else around the corner who will appreciate ALL of you. It will take time. Be confident in who you are and continue to groom yourself into the dynamic person YOU want to be.
Picture
-Wrong direction, misplaced affection
-Rejection
-Another one of life's little lessons
-You and me, the possibilities
-I took a chance on yes, and you replied with no
-So many emotions
-Doubting self-worth, fighting anger
-Just want to go back to us being strangers
-Hurt and pain
-Put myself out there, but for what gain?
-May not be a coward, but I sure want to take back that last hour
-I know, I have many things to offer
-You don't see them, so I suffer?
-One day I'll find another
-Who will love all of me, unconditionally, and eternally

 "Wait, Stay"

The feeling of falling is so euphoric, but we also may feel the need to restrain ourselves out of caution. Will she/he catch me
if I fall? Are we really compatible? Does she/he share the same feelings? Our thoughts and emotions can become overwhelming or fleeting. At times, we move forward with nothing more than a little faith. Here is to hoping it blossoms into something wonderful.
Wait, Stay

-The thought of you makes me smile
-Maybe a crush, feeling flushed
-Maybe a love, feeling rushed
-You take me somewhere else
-See things I couldn't see for myself

Wait, Stay

-Let us explore this connection
-I think of you often
-Tell me you don't see it?
-You're so beautiful, an energy so pure, a heart so open

Wait, Stay

-If I could remember my dreams, I am sure they are of you
-That's why I sleep so soundly
-You're like my heartbeat, the air I breathe, the soul I seek
-An image in the mirror, that until now, I never understood who was looking back at me

Wait, Stay
